Concussion Evaluation (Initial)

Service Description

This is an extensive battery designed and developed by Dr. Van Boven, an expert in diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury. A concussion evaluation includes: a detailed history, physical examination, 14 standardized batteries, neurocognitive computer testing, visual-oculomotor testing, and integration of a multi-modal care plan. This evaluation plan is spread over 3 appointments: 1) History and physical examination; 2) Neurocognitive testing and standardized battery of questionnaires; 3) Results reporting and integration by physician and development of personal care plan.
